Freezing

Down the creek from Chittenango Falls.

The thing I love most about this picture, was what I had to do to get it. There were too many trees to shoot it from the trail in the park, so it required walking down hill careful not to slip and fall in the creek itself, crawling around and under a few trees, then grabbing one for support to make sure I didn't fall in leaning over to get the right angle.

That's my favorite part about photography, is when you do what seems like crazy things for 'just a picture', but to you, the picture's always worth whatever you had to do to get it.
